Sprocket Scores In Harrington Open Pace

TLB Racing's Sprocket was a 1:52 winner in the $20,000 featured Open Pace on Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The Traci Berry trainee, in rein to Pat Barry, emerged from the pocket and attacked leader Grand Cayman while out-kicking closers Outclassed and Wager On Me in a blanket finish. Outclassed closed down the passing lane for second while Grand Cayman held third.

It was the third win of the Harrington meet for Sprocket, who has banked $370,418 lifetime. He paid $12 to win.

Tony Morgan won three races on the card. Corey Callahan, Allan Davis and Berry each had a pair of wins.

Live harness racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule. Post time is 4:30 p.m.
