Local News: Alexa Pulley to serve as Sikeston Middle School assistant principal (4/21/23)

SIKESTON — Sikeston Public Schools recently announced its next assistant principal at Sikeston Middle School.

Alexa Pulley will serve as the assistant principal at the middle school starting in the 2023-2024 school year, the district announced April 12.

Pulley has been with Sikeston Public Schools for three years as a fourth grade teacher and dean of students at Sikeston Middle School.

“I am elated to learn and grow more as assistant principal at Sikeston Middle School,” Pulley said. “It has been an absolute joy working alongside everyone to accomplish goals and work together to do what is best for each other and our students. I look forward to our future and achievements! #BulldogProud!”

Pulley’s husband, Treston Pulley, is a Sikeston native, teacher and head football coach. The couple have two children. Pulley’s family has a nonprofit organization, Youth Empowerment 573, where they provide opportunities for the youth of the community and inspire them.
